Marilyn K. Terlouw, C.K.D. |
Marilyn Terlouw is the president of Kitchen Concepts, Inc. and a Certified Kitchen Designer. She worked in the greater Cincinnati area for two years before moving to Iowa and starting her own business in 1990. Her design philosophy is to design "outside of the box". Anyone can fill space, but it takes a good desginer to use form, texture, color and balance along with function. A good design should show "personality" and energy. Her highlights include working with a Fortune 500 company for design and products, having kitchens and bathrooms published in national magazines, and writing an on-going "Ask the Expert" column for a nationally published magazine. In her spare time, she works in her art studio in mixed media, reads, and enjoys traveling. |
